By now I'm missing hockey and I'm sure I won't be able to see any while I'm in South Korea next month so I am going to play NHL '08... wishfully on the PS3, but i won't have that with me so it'll be on my laptop instead.  I'm deciding which team I should be... I think if i'm the sabres I might actually win as they are ranked one of the top teams in the game, maybe this is a good idea.  I'm not sure this is a good substitute for actually hockey although there will be beer involved and plenty of frustrations : )  I'll keep an update of the standings incase anyone other than myself is interested although I am convinced no one really looks at this sight....lol

The Greater Buffalo Senior Invitational Hockey Tournament, or something like that... 2 losses and one win, our first win at that!  Even though we started out slow by getting out scored 10/1 we came back for the final game and scored 7 goals and only allowed 1 amazingly.  I was even able to tally my first penalty minutes and my first point.  So I guess we have potential after all, lol. 

Saturday some of the team memebers went out to celebrate our losses and I managed to sneak a pics in of them enjoying their food and beverages.  You'll see below potential for our new logo as we determined we have great respect for chicken wings!

Can't wait for the season to begin!

So today is the day... the first "real" game I've ever played.  I think that I might get nervous and score on my own goal or something.  Maybe this time I'll remember everyone's names (should be easy if Jeff brings the green duct tape and everyone agrees to wearing it).  None the less I plan on winning this one and taking the momentum into the rest of the tourny so we can hoist the cup (or at least get a free beer).  I wonder if everyone feels this way their first time?
