We played our first Summer 08 game against Able Agency. We started out the year in the American division with a 6-2 loss at the hands of defending American North Champions. I would consider that a win in some form.

Maybe we were a little tired from the tournament two days before, or maybe they were too good. I would go with the latter.

It is like if we made it to the tourny championship.

The Mustangs finished up the Greater Buffalo Hockey Tournament on Saturday, finishing with a 2-0-1 record. Taking 4.5 points out of 5 in the Final Game didn't write their ticket to the championship due to a sweep by the Slick Willies, taking all 5 points against the Wolves.

Congrats to Slick Willlies for the win against KLSN in the Championship.

I have been playing on a team in the Performax Hockey league for the past 4 years. When I first joined the league, my team was made up guys that I worked with. We were known as the Ice Holes and in only our 2nd season, we took the Sportsman Central (Tier III) division championship.

After 2 seasons, a lot of guys quit the team and we had to look for fillers. The fillers were no slouches and we were moved from the Beta Division to American South Division. We changed our name to the Teppo's, like Numminen. We did not win the championship that year.

We are still going strong but this year we changed our name to the Mustangs, after the Hamilton Mustangs in the movie Youngblood. The team is still the same as last season, we just wanted a change of jersey to break free of the Ice Holes/Teppo's baggage.
