About Me: I'm a roller hockey player who started in Southern California. I was a goalie at first in a high school league, then when I moved up to be the varsity goalie, I started playing some defense for the JV team, and have found that I prefer the action skating and being in the play the whole time over the fast paced frenzies and quiet periods of playing goalie. I'm currently looking for a team, preferably one at a lower level, so I can get back in the game.
Music: Disturbed The Offspring 311 Reel Big Fish
    Movies: Not much into movies.
TV: TV, it still exists other than sports?
Books: Piers Anthony, Incarnations of Immortality and Xanth series.
Likes: http://kaotik29.bravehost.com which is my site, hockey, of course, NASCAR, and designing stuff.
Hobbies: Hockey, football, NASCAR, and designing stuff.
Vices: Trying to kick the vices, as they have spent too much time making me someone I don't want to be.
Virtues: Hard working, but in Buffalo, that's kind of a means to survive.

To get in real good shape

Sunday, June 22, 2008, 12:47 AM EST [General]

To get in real good shape, play indoor lacrosse.  I just got back a little over an hour ago from practicing with a team based in Buffalo, and it ruled.  I'm tired, body is slightly sore, but it was worth it.  And with the way hockey has been treating me lately, lacrosse may be my new number 1 sport.  Which would be okay with me, I don't have time to waste going to rinks to see if a team needs an extra player.  The lacrosse team has accepted me, despite it being my first time out there.  SO, it's time for me to make up my mind as to which one is more importnat to me, and lacrosse has just stuck it's nose out in front.

    New things going on

Monday, June 16, 2008, 05:55 PM EST [General]

Since hockey is going a little slow for me, I'm going to be starting something new and slightly different.  Well, it is played on a hockey rink, but it's not hockey in anyway.  It's indoor lacrosse.  I'm going to practice with the Buffalo Brigade Fann Cup team this Saturday.  It's something new and exciting.

Yes, I am still looking for a team.  I'm hoping for roller hockey, but will try ice as well.  I'm not great, so copper/bronze/lower division would be best for me.  But I am still looking, possibly to put together a team for Pepsi Center next season.

    And this makes post #30.

    Good night

    Kinda Bored

Thursday, May 29, 2008, 04:22 PM EST [General]

I'm kinda bored, still looking for a team or pickup game, ice included, as I have gotten a new pair of pants - the Rbk 5.

So, anyone interested (preferably roller, ice is OK if you don't mind me being a total rookie), let me know, I'll keep track here, and if there is enough interest, I'll see what can be done.

This is better timing than the last time I posted about a pickup game.  And let me know if I need shoulder pads or not for playing ice.

    Resuming training

Monday, May 12, 2008, 09:36 PM EST [General]

I'm resuming training, after a few weeks off, and hope to be able to start a team in time for the next season at American Indoor, or the September season at Mil-Sher.  I'm looking for players for a bronze/lower level team, so if you're looking for a roller hockey team, contact me, and I will give you any information I can.

There is a new project I am doing for the team I am trying to create.

    Deleted Buffalo FA

Sunday, May 4, 2008, 08:06 PM EST [General]

I have deleted the Buffalo Free Agents Group because of lack of activity.  I have done this due to lack of activity, assuming that most people here are on teams.

I am going to create a new group sometime in the near future in conjunction with a project I am starting, and Hockeyscape will get to see the primier of it, even before my own site gets it.  I expect to be done in a few weeks with it.

And I also may be joining a team.  Details to be determined as time progresses.
