The Hamburg Town Arena said they would be closed until the end of September, and possibly into early October. They closed early this year, and may be opening later. Where else can we play hockey in the Southtowns?

Congratulations to the Detroit Red Wings for winning the Stanley Cup!!! Truly the class of the league. Clean, talented and relentless.

Now that the season is over, what do we do for hockey in Buffalo? NHL Network is showing re-runs, but it isn't enough. Many rinks are closed for the summer.

What are you doing for your hockey fix? Do you currently play? If so, where and at what level?

I went to http://www.performaxhockey.com/ and saw that the Adult Instructional Program starts on May 12th.

The Buffalo Senior Hockey Invitational is also sold out, which sucks, because I was hoping maybe I could get on a beginner team.

My rink in Hamburg is now closed for the season (until September), and now I'm looking for a place to play at the beginner level. I've skated at the Pepsi Center for skate-and-shoot, but was looking to get in on a beginner team.

Not easy to do when you work full-time, go to school part-time and have a baby on the way...

... anyone from this season's Adult Instructional Program looking to play in the Summer league in the Club or Novice Division? I have been following the standings and have even attended a few games.
