Jumping probably may be the most vital component to any athlete. Pushing aside running, an athlete's jumping power might be the most consequential component of a competitor. If you ask a trainer what the most significant aspect of a particular athlete is, there is a real likelihood that they will state it's their jumping program The usefulness of jumping is unmistakable in a great number of sports, perhaps none more than fooball. Successful competition in tennis requires competant jumping skills.
And so it's no surprise that well-trained competitors are seeking out new strategies to jump higher. Jumping programs are invaluable tools if the athlete puts in the effort demanded. The results, if the trainee exerts enough effort, can be incredibly dramatic. It is hard to distinguish between jumping and simple dexterity. Athletes who play soccer who develop quickness and dexterity, for example, are often more efficient than soccer players who choose not to.
